Too many knights in PNG

 I BELIEVE we have too many knights compared to other Commonwealth countries. As we prepare ourselves to celebrate our Independence day, let us look at how many PNG citizens we have knighted andask whether those knights are looking after their employees or communities? Are we handing out knighthoods just to please our wantoks or people we know? Nominations are now open for who should be knighted, as I  read  in The National. I am wondering how many more people will become “Sirs” as part of this year’s Independence day celebrations.
