TOP information system university graduate Picky Airi has been rewarded by a mobile phone company.
Airi was named the top information system student at the Divine Word University last year.
Airi graduated this year with a bachelors degree in information systems and won the Digicel award for “outstanding leadership in IT service projects”.
He received a state-of-the-art Digicel handset and merchandise in recognition of his achievement.
Airi said: “I have always challenged myself to do better in my studies and the Digicel Award has motivated me to use my potential to do better and contribute meaningfully in my field of expertise.”
The 24-year-old, from Tubusereia in Central, also thanked Digicel for recognising the talent and potential in individuals.
Digicel area manager for Madang Noki Kot presented Airi with his award.
The award is presented to the top information system student at the Divine Word University every year.
