Chief executive officer Kevin Christie said it was always the desire of Mapai to support well-managed landowner companies develop their business.
Christie said RTSL had doubled its number of trucks to four in just two months – which landowners, company directors and managers should be proud of.
“It is hoped they will be able to further double the capacity gained within the next six months,” he said.
“The partnership and working relationship with these landowners continues to improve and Mapai will continue to support them to achieve their objectives.”
Christie commended the Ramu mine for giving the transport contract to the landowner company.
