Tribal leader condemns Anglimp

Highlands, Normal

ANGLIMP government station in Western Highlands is described as one of the most rundown station as it does not have any support
from the local MP Jamie Maxtone-Graham or the government since 2004.
The buildings that cater for public servants and the district offices have been rundown and most government services have  not reached the station.
The lawns had been covered
with tall grass  and  no one, not even the MP, who was taking
this into consideration.
Pawa Wai, a leader form the Kuli tribe, recently said that since 2004, they had not been seeing any development taking place at the district station.
He said that in many government stations there  were some services and development taking place but Anglimp had  not seen any development or changes .
Wai said the police station and public servants houses had been deserted and no one was raising any concern about the station.
He said children and adults of Anglimp had been neglected from  receiving basic services and which they do not know why it has happening.
Wai said that at various times they had been raising these issues with some people in authority but had all fallen onto deaf ears.
