THREE of the 17 stores that participated during the Vision City trade expo were awarded by management on the last day of the expo yesterday.
Wantok Rewards were awarded the most decorative booth, Mark’s Travel and Outdoor Sport were awarded the most innovative booth and 2K Medical Centre received the media’s favourite booth award.
Mark’s Travel and Outdoor Sport manager Orlando Molona Jr said this was their fourth year of being awarded the most innovative booth since the expo started.
He said they always had their staff dressed in the apparel they sold which attracted customers.
2K Medical Centre physician Dr Luisito Marcel Garchitorena said the expo had been a great avenue to create more awareness on lifestyle diseases as well as providing free blood and sugar level test.
“On a daily basis, we attract about 200 patients to our booth and we are very happy for being given this opportunity because it gives us the chance to lift our game in terms of advocacy and health awareness,” he said.
“Not too many people are aware of the lifestyle diseases.
“So with this opportunity given by Vision City, we have been able to make more people aware of their condition is.”
Garchitorena said they were humbled as a team to be recognised and being awarded the media’s favourite booth showed that people appreciated their services.
