Trukai draws winners, announces new promo

Two winning entries for Trukai’s nationwide handset promotion were drawn in Lae yesterday.
Trukai Ltd regional sales manager Dang Monmai said the aim of the promotion was to boost sales of their premium products – Trukai brown rice, medium grain and Jasmine rice.
The promotion was held nationwide and winners for Lae, Mt Hagen and Kokopo were announced yesterday.
Monmai also announced another major Trukai promotion to win school fees worth of K500,000 for next year.
“The (new) promotion will start on Monday (Dec 23) and will end on Feb 18, 2020,” he said.
“Winners will be announced each week to win K2,500.”
Monmai said parents with children in school could take part in the promotion by buying Trukai medium grain roots rice, 5kg and 10kg bags, to take part in the competition.
Monmai said Trukai had challenges but they had strategies in place to remain competitive.
“We have been here in the country for more than 45 years and we have produce quality and that has never changed,” he said.
District sales manager Yaks Tugula said Trukai Ltd had given back to the people through sports and community initiatives. “We are here to stay and will maintain our quality for our consumers,” Tugula said.
