Trukai Rice truly foreign

DOES Trukai really care about developing the rice industry in Papua New Guinea?
All these years, it has been feeding us with Australian-grown rice benefiting only Australian farmers.
I call on Trukai to tell us which part of PNG it gets its rice from.
When another company wants to grow rice in PNG, it runs into problems.
At least the new company cares enough about PNG that it wants to grow rice here and keep the money circulating in our economy.
Every Papua New Guinean knows rice can be grown here and finally a company wants to invest in that important industry.
It is time we stop listening to AusTrade and Trukai.
It is time we support real and genuine investments in PNG rice.
The only thing Papua New Guinean know about Trukai is its name.
Everything else, including the rice in that bright yellow or blue package, is most definitely not Papua New Guinean.
