TWO men have been arrested for raping a college student in Kudjip, Jiwaka last Friday, police say.
Provincial police commander Insp Gideon Kauke said the suspects where from the Rungei tribe in Kudjip, Anglimp-South Waghi, Jiwaka.
Kauke said locals from the Rungei tribe attacked the Melanesian Nazarene Teachers College due to divisions between them and the institution.
He said some school property was damaged but the rape was the most serious incident.
