THE management of the University of Goroka (UoG) has extended the registration of students by a week, Vice-Chancellor Prof Musawe Sinebare says.
“The slowness of students turning up for registration has caused the extension, we have extended from last Friday’s deadline to this Friday,” he said.
Sinebare said the administration had put in place measures to ensure there was no fraudulent admissions because past experience had shown that some students showed up at the registration desk with fake admission letters.
“The extension is also to include students who would be sourcing their fees from the higher education loan programme (Help), every accompanying document are carefully screened like the National Identification (NID),” he said.
