Unitech and laptops

AN additional K1000 was paid on top of the tuition fee by each student for brand new laptops at the University of Technology.
It’s been two months now since the academic year began
and we are still waiting for our laptops.
Almost 500 of us are new intakes.
You multiply that by K1000 and see how much is being put into purchasing these laptops.
When we call our parents to ask them if they could buy new ones for us, their response was, “We have already paid for your laptops, and how we can pay again for another one?”
Some of us have to wait till our friends are done with their work, then we borrow them to do our work late in the night.
We have to finish up our work before morning and return the laptops because they will be needing it during the day.
We desperately need laptops for doing our work since we are using Google classroom and everything is done online.
We want the administration to speed up whatever process is halting the distribution of the laptops.
If they cannot make the laptops available, then they have to refund our money so that we go and look for one in Town or Eriku.
