United Brothers move closer to securing title

UNITED Brothers are a step closer to claiming the Port Moresby Men’s Softball Association’s Fast Five tournament title at the Bisini Diamonds.
After two weekends, Brothers maintain the top spot on the ladder with 120 points.
Trailing them are Southside Jets, Power Rangers and Redsox.
Brothers are in control of Pool A which also consists Antelopes, Rangers, Hornets, Rotweillers and Patriots.
This weekend’s contestants in Pool B are Redsox, Eagles, Southside Jets, Grizllies and Cats.
With K3,000 up for grabs, all 11 sides will vie for the top-two pool positions for the round-three finals. Brothers coach Anthony Daple said his men were focused on winning the prize.
