Use your time wisely, students told

TERTIARY students of Nipa-Kutubu have been urged to use their time wisely in their studies to produce better results. 

Education Department headquarters education officer Daniel Isaac spoke to students from the electorate attending different institutions on parents’ perspective in Port Moresby recently. 

Isaac was speaking during the presentation of tuition remittance advice for Nipa-Kutubu students by MP Jeffery Komal.

Isaac urged them to use their time wisely in their studies and do away with non-educational activities, like drinking beer and other unnecessary activities.

He said: “You (students) should use the 24 hours of a day wisely.”

“Your success depends on the how you use your time. 

“We (parents) want to see you graduating with a diploma or degree in quality.”

He said they should discipline the use of their time and other resources and how they do things.

“If you observe people with bad habits, do not associate with them as they may influence you which may then affect your studies,” Isaac said.

“This will help you become a good citizen to help Nipa-Kutubu tomorrow.

“You should be happy that God has brought you to the institutions you are now at, to develop you so you become a vessel to serve other people.”

He thanked Komal for having the heart to assist with the students’ tuition fees and help raise leaders of tomorrow.
