Vaccination round starts

 THE Health Department will conduct the third round of the nationwide supplementary immunisation activity against tetanus from June 17 to July 26.

It targets females between 15 and 45, including pregnant women.

The department, the United Nations Children’s Fund and World Health Organisation are partners in the exercise.

Parents are urged to bring children who are under one year for routine immunisation, six months to one year for vitamin A supplement and zero to five for polio vaccine. 

The launching will be held at the St Charles Lwanga Secondary School at Gerehu in Port Moresby next Monday.
