Village turned into trouble spot

 NUNGWAIA village in the north Wosera LLG has gone from a respectful, peaceful community to one of the worst home brew producing and marijuana cultivating communities in East Sepik. For over 20 years poor road conditions and ineffective village law enforcers have seen a rapid increase in home brew production and marijuana cultivation and sales. Despite several complaints being laid to village leaders these cases were treated minor cases and the perpetrators walked away freely. Teachers and nurses serving in the community are now at risk if being abused verbally or physical as there have been two similar cases in 2014. I appeal to the Wosera Gawi MP to do something to boost law and order in this village.
