THE SNS Port Moresby Vipers squad attended the National Haus Krai at the Sir John Guise Stadium Tuesday night.

In a show of support Vipers senior player Richard Kambo speaking on behalf of his 25 teammates said the franchise being the capital city’s rugby league representatives wanted to show fans the clubs solidarity for women.

“The National Haus Krai is a great thing and that PNG men should support and start to change and to treat women as equals,” Kambo said.

The affable Kambo said that he and the Vipers team were proud to support the initiative that was started to highlight the spate of killings, rapes and mis-treatment of women in recent months.

The Vipers are so far the only sports team to join the Haus Krai.
