Vital to cleanse the haus tambaran

Letters, Normal

WE are a Christian country yet our leaders sit in a haus tambaran to make decisions for the common good of the people of this country.
A haus tambaran literally translated means a house of the spirits of the dead or a house of spirits worshiped by a certain group of people.
The house has certain paintings or objects depicting these spirits, consequently inviting these foul spirits to invade the house at will.
These spirits have the power to inflict the mind of our leaders with certain thoughts and mind patterns that are not conducive to the well-being of our people.
The agenda of these spirits is to rule the mind of man through every wicked way possible and in most cases, very subtly.
The mind is a very important part of a human and these spirits know can be easily manipulated because by just one decision, they can destroy many, and their agenda is destruction.
Unless a mind has been cleansed by the Word of God and trained to rationalise, it is at the mercy of these spirits.
These spirits promote poverty, greed, immorality, idolatry, selfishness, sickness, diseases, family breakdowns, sufferings of all sorts, corruption of all sorts, etc.
The spirits play their game so subtly that there is no suspicion of foul play, no one knows why certain decisions are made, especially when they are illogical and not in the best interest of the country, but serves only a few minority.
The Parliament needs to be cleansed thoroughly with the destruction of pictures or items that depict them and a changing of the name of the building from haus tambaran to say haus bung or haus man.
We cannot continue to blame our leaders for the way the country is being run, it is nothing physical as it is a spiritual matter.
As long as these changes are not made, we will continue to go the way we are going, so rich yet so poor, so blessed yet living in poverty.
If we procrastinate, the spirits will literally destroy this wonderful country of ours and there will be nothing for our children but debts, ruins and destruction.
Take a look at the places where we have big mines – Ok Tedi, Lihir, Misima and Porgera.
But have the lives of the people of these towns change for the better?
The LNG project is in its initial phases of development but already you could read the writing on the wall.
This is not coincidence but the work of spirits.
Parliament is infested with spirits and must be cleansed.
Allow me to end with God’s Holy Word: “For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh. For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ, and being ready to punish all disobedience when your obedience is fulfilled.” (2 Corinthians 10:3-6)
