VODAFONE PNG opened a shop in Kokopo for East New Britain customers on Thursday “to revolutionise the retail experience for customers in the province”.
Vodafone PNG public relations manager Charmaine ToRobert said it was a significant step in the company’s commitment to providing solutions for its customers through a range of products and services.
“We are passionate about delivering exceptional products and services and creating a space where technology is accessible and understandable,” ToRobert said.
She said the establishment of the Kokopo store also showed their commitment to community engagement with plans to host regular roadshows, tech talks and events to educate people about the products.
ToRobert added that the shop’s opening had also created jobs.
Provincial administrator Levi Mano said his office was looking forward to working with Vodafone to see telecommunication service reached the rural communities.
