‘Vote for performers’

A HELA businessman wants people in the province to re-elect leaders who are performing, especially those who are restoring peace, order and delivering services.
Managing director of landowner company Trans Wonderland, Larry Andagali, made the call when commending Prime Minister James Marape and Hela Governor Philip Undialu for working to restore peace in the province through a gun-surrender programme.
Andagali said this in Tari on Monday after groups involved in tribal fights in Tari-Pori surrendered their guns to bring peace and normalcy back to the area.
He commended Marape and Undialu for affecting positive change among the people. Andagali said peace and progress had to be the main goals of the province.
Hulia local level government law and order chairman Timothy Hayara backed Andagali and said good leadership needed to be appreciated and valued by the people.
