Vote the right person

Letters

THE late Sir Mekere Morauta was a great man.
And he was always going to win the Moresby North West seat.
Now we have the by-election.
Forty-two candidates are now vying for the seat.
The candidates include credible men and a trailblazing lone female iron maiden.
Let us not vote based on tribalism.
This is the capital city of Papua New Guinea and North West is comprised of intellectuals. Many leaders have made Port Moresby their second home.
Let’s vote a leader who is a Papua New Guinean, speaks the Papua New Guinean way, speaks nationally, embraces everyone, has one spouse and has good Christian values.
I will give my vote to the candidate that speaks for everyone.
These are trying times and self-centred schemes won’t help us.
It’s already happening in the country.
