VUDAL Gazelle will be looking for their first win in the Kumul Petroleum National Soccer League New Guinea Islands Conference in the double header in Kimbe, West New Britain, tomorrow.
The East New Britain team, made up mostly of players from the University of Natural Resources and Environment and Gazelle, are yet to register a win.
Conference coordinator Tonga Esira said Gazelle would be travelling to Kimbe today and were expected to arrive at around midday to prepare for their fixture against the second-placed AROB Chebu.
AROB, who are residing in Kimbe, will be looking to return to the winner’s circle after a loss to West Tribe last weekend.
West Tribe are on a bye this weekend.
The main game at the Sasi Muthuvel Stadium will be an interesting one between Greengold and Radazz.
Esira said it was supposed to be a home game for Radazz but due to the incident in Kokopo last weekend, the match would now be played in Kimbe.
Radazz are also expected to arrive in Kimbe at around midday today. NGI will be hosting its games while the Southern and Highlands conferences have a two-week recess.
The Northern Conference is completing its wash-out games.
NGI fixtures: Sat, March 16 – AROB Chebu v Gazelle (12.30pm), Greengold v Radazz (3pm).
