Wadega Park hosts semis

THE Alotau Basketball Association will hold their semi-finals at Alice Wadega Park this weekend.
In the men’s challenge, Rollers take on reigning premiers Firefox in the qualifier while in the elimination final, Brothers face Masurina Giants.
In the women’s do-or-die match, veterans ABJ Jokers go up against Mid Saints, and Sotmres lock horns with CPL.
After the regular season, Gunz lead with 42 points in the men’s division, followed by Rollers 38, Fox 37, Brothers 24 and Giants 21.
In the women’s challenge, Rollers lead with 38 points, Stormers 36, CPL 28, Jokers 28, Mid Saints 14, Cameroon and Works on seven point apiece.
Meanwhile, the association president Jack Osembo said Team Alotau’s basketball squad would be finalised and confirmed on Sunday.
