Waiting on further actions by PAC

AS an affected citizen who is losing hope of better health services, I want to share my thoughts about the Public Accounts Committee (PAC) findings about the failed procurement and distribution of medical drugs and kits.
The government had allocated more than K1 million for PAC to investigate and refer those bureaucrats implicated to be dealt with by the law.
We are waiting to hear from the committee about those implicated. What is going to happen to those implicated?
We are still waiting on that.
From what I observed, PAC did not complete the inquiry due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
They only did recommendation and presented it in parliament.
But the most intriguing part about the inquiry is that no arrest or referral had been made.
What’s next?
At the end of the day, it’s easy to conclude that the inquiry was a total waste of taxpayers’ money.
