Walo wins iPhone in bmobile-Vodafone’s promotion

Lae resident Imelda Walo is the grand prize winner of the bmobile-Vodafone ‘Every day is Christmas in December’ promotion.
Walo is the lucky winner of an Apple iPhone XS Max which features a large 6.5 inch display, 60 FPS TrueDepth Camera, advanced facial ID, A12 Bionic Chip and is dust and water-resistant.
She was stoked to have won and mentioned that she’d been using bmobile-Vodafone since 2015. Walo encouraged others to join the network because of the affordable call rates and data plans.
Bmobile-Vodafone national marketing manager Nathaniel Lepani said Walo won as a result of subscribing to a K40 data plan on a Friday.
This was tied into every Friday during the promotional period where you subscribed to a data plan of 1GB or more and received 100 minutes of ‘Christmas Cheer’.
Bmobile-Vodafone has been spreading the ‘Christmas Cheer’ to all of its subscribers around PNG since Dec 1 by gifting them with either 100MB or 100 minutes each time they subscribe to a specific product daily.
On top of every ‘Christmas Cheer’ gift a subscriber received, they were automatically entered into the grand prize draw to win an Apple iPhone XR, Apple iPhone XS or Apple iPhone XS Max. This meant the more ‘Christmas Cheer’ gifts a subscriber received, the more chances they had to win those top-of-the-line Apple iPhone prizes.
