We must be smarter

UNTIL we find our true form, Papua New Guinea will continue to reel from the amphetamines of outside influence.
The type and style of democracy we experience today is a fake, “cut and paste” form of government that we have wrongly adopted.
Election is a white man’s ploy to destroy our tribal Melanesian values and origin as oppose to a tribe-bases appointment system.
So they can divide and rule over us.
That has been our fake journey against all logics and reasonable explanation since our first election in 1964 – which comprised 10 elections and 10 lives of parliament over 50 years.
Yet, we just could not find the snake and shoot it on the head thus far.
This election is no different.
The serpent has crept in once again.
Soon a new government will be formed, eggs will hatch and more baby snakes will emerge.
Papua New Guinea is being entangled by this serpent, this predator, for the 11th time.
This has happened because voters failed three questions during campaign and at polling:

  • ARE you an independent or party-sponsored candidate in this election;
  • IF you are an independent, where did you get the money from for this election; and,
  • IF party-sponsored, does your party have a business and/or where did your party get the money to sponsor you?

Corrupt and dirty money from corrupt individuals, businesses, and corporations has record in sponsoring elections in Papua New Guinea.
Because of voters’ vulnerability and lust for money and cargo corrupt influence, the outcomes of the election are what we are witnessing once again in this election 2022.
It is this predator snake that I am referring to.
Our children, our future, our destiny is at a crossroad.
Only time will tell whether we will survive.
