PRIVATE Companies Netball Competition leaders Westpac beat Kina Bank 21-10 on Saturday to continue their winning run at the Rita Flynn Indoor Complex.
Westpac lead the seven team competition followed by Moore Printing, Bank South Pacific and QBE Doves making up the rest of the top four with two rounds remaining.
Moore Printing and BSP, who were last year’s grand finalists, will be teams to watch.
Westpac were just too good for the opposition as the midcourt comprising Alanna Tarutia, Freda Sinen and Loi Lahui clicked into gear to set up shooters Elina Ripason and Jacqueline Kwalu.
Ripason scored 19 goals while Kwalu added two goals.
The pair benfited from Tarutia, Sinen and Lahui who ensured they were fed throughout the match.
On the defensive end Kerry Agi and Tuana Vagi made it hard for Kina’s shooters Kula Iamo and Mella Oa and gave them little room to operate in.
Vagi was limited to six goals and Kula four goals.
Kina’s mid-court also struggled to match Westpac’s dynamic trio while the reserves came on and maintained the dominance.
