When will SBE training start in EHP?

 I WISH to raise this concern on behalf of all elementary teachers in Eastern Highlands. 

The rolling out of the long awaited SBE training has gone bush. 

Teachers have been expecting this important training to start but they have  been held in suspense on the training which is yet to be implemented. 

Due to unforeseen circumstances, elementary teachers in the province are constantly informed that the delays are with headquarters. 

So who in Port Moresby is responsible to have this programme funded? 

TOT training has been done away with couple of months ago. 

What more are we waiting for?

I understand an officer from Port Moresby has been travelling to and from Eastern Highlands regularly. 

Can that officer come out and explain what the delay is about? 

Elementary teachers are required to implement the new curriculum next year but, where is the knowledge to do that. 

OBE was outdated last year but Eastern Highlands continued to teach this curriculum. 

Parents are not that stupid to be fooled. They are well aware that teachers are feeding their kids with rubbish this year. 

And so they will not be expecting OBE to be repeated again next year. 

Before the Christmas break SBE training must eventuate.
