Where are we going PNG?

Letters

PAPUA New Guinea needs to take full ownership of its resources if we want to experience real development and move forward to another level of systematic freedom and economic progress and prosperity.
The past and current government leadership have not been conscious of the fact that our resources are owned by foreign companies, which extract or harvest and sell them for their own money and only give us the bones.
The root causes of the problems affecting our people and country lie in the West Minister parliamentary political system of England we follow.
It makes our citizens dependents, failures, slaves, outcasts, rascals, poor, and our country is now facing an economic crisis as a result of ill advice from the World Bank and International Monetary Fund officials who brainwashed the Somare government into acquiring massive loans to run our country.
