Why is Nasfund in Lae selective of services?

Letters

I WONDER if the Nasfund headquarters in Port Moresby is aware of certain services that are provided only on certain days in some of its branches around the country.
At the Lae branch, withdrawal applications are entertained only on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays while other queries, particularly application to merge accounts are done only on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
I believe Nasfund is a financial institution so it cannot appoint days to provide specific services.
If you go to the bank to withdraw, they can’t tell you that they are only taking deposits on a particular day.
Let’s be real and perform all our daily duties.
Maybe a public hospital can schedule days for certain treatments such as baby’s injection, pregnant mothers’ check or dental services depending on the availability of specialists or other constraints, but for a multi-billion kina superannuation fund manager turning contributors away “because today is not the right day” is just not right.
