Wigmen name 52-man squad after trials, to slash to 25

THE Kroton Hela Wigmen named their extended squad after recent trials at Kone Tigers Oval in Port Moresby.
A team from Hela joined sides form the national capital.
Wigmen chairman Andy Hetra said the players selected for the 52-man squad would allow the franchise to pick the best possible 25 for the 2019 Digicel Cup season which kicks off on April 7.
Hetra thanked Ipwenz Construction for sponsoring the trials as well as the club’s major sponsors Kroton and the Hela government for their support this season.
