Wingti must earn recognition

 I AM surprised to read The National’s editorial calling for the National Government to give Western Highlands Governor Paias Wingti some recognition such as a knighthood and renaming the Kagamuga airport as Paias Wingti International Airport. Such recognition are earned and not just donated. Recognitions should be given to leaders who deliver basic services and leaders who mingle with their people and feel what their people feel and eat what they eat and share future dreams for their children. Let Wingti earn that recognition.
