Wisil completes tour of Japan

Sprint queen Toea Wisil capped off her Japanese tour last week with a first-place finish and respectable early season times.
Wisil returned to the track during a Japanese tour four months after last year’s Vanuatu Mini Games.
Wisil placed third and topped the medal standing, running bests of 11.65 and 24.02 seconds to better her Vanuatu performances.
Wisil’s opponents presented her a big challenge as many of them were preparing for next month’s Japanese national championships.
With PNG’s national championships in August, the coaching staff is asking for patience with Toea’s progress this year.
