CENTRAL’S Laloki Police Station has been closed for about six months. Laloki ward one councillor George Girisa said the lack of police presence in the community since the station’s closure had led to an increase in law and order issues. He said youths were taking drugs and consuming alcohol, and were causing problems in the community. Girisa said the station needed to be reopened and upgraded.
