Traffic lights along the four-lane road in Mt Hagen that controls the movement of vehicles and pedestrian has been switched off for some time. The public takes the risk to cross at undesignated spots within the city’s central business district. Rules and regulations governing the use of the four-lane road infrastructure is not enforced by the traffic authorities to avoid accidents. Authorities need to take drastic measures to fix it.
