Visible changes are taking place in and around Wewak district, East Sepik. The township is enjoying new facilities, and infrastructure development. Many more is coming under the leadership of young politician, Stanley Muts Samban. The latest in these developments saw progress being made on the Wewak sea wall. The township is surrounded by the ocean, and is constantly hit by waves when the going gets rough and tough. With global warming, climate change, high tides and rising sea levels, Samban is preparing his Wewak people. He said: “More will come as long as we stand up and do it right for and by the people.”
