Iksy Kwalimu, from Abau, Central (right), and East Sepik’s Jordan Krakuan raking and collecting grass that they have slashed grasses along Waigani Drive in front of The National’s office last week. Kwalimu and Krakuan are employed by Rezzi Contract, a company contracted by the National Capital District Commission to keep the city clean. Both men say it is their job is to cut grass, and collect and leave them at the side of the road for another contractor to pick them up for disposing where appropriate.
