Tadup Primary in Transgogol, Madang, does not look like it is ready for classes to start.
Once a school which gave hope to children in the area, Tadup today is overgrown with grass with no sign of activity.
The school was forced to close last year because of tribal fighting which resulted in damage to classrooms and teachers’ houses.
Classes are scheduled to start nationwide today week on January 29.
