The Omili Police Station in Lae serves a large area in Kamkumung, Butibum, Speedway and surrounding areas. It is in desperate need of renovation. Most of the louvre frames and blades are broken. The structure itself can hardly support the whole building while the roofing irons are rusting away. The policemen stationed there have been trying their best to enforce law and order despite operating from this rundown building.
