As dangerous footpaths go, this one is right up there near the top of the list.
This is on Boroko Drive, near the Tana Tana Street junction, in Port Moresby, which on a busy day forces pedestrians to step onto the road. It is a busy two-lane road leading from China Town to the 5-Mile roundabout and beyond. It is a busy residential area with churches, the Boroko Market and Coronation School nearby.
City Manager Bernard Kipit should get the owner of this property to either trim the hedge right back or remove it altogether before someone gets killed.
Prevention is better than cure.
