WITNESS

This section of the national highway in the Lower Mendi LLG area in the Imbonggu district of Southern Highlands will soon collapse if nothing is done to fix it. The National saw huge cracks and one third of the road has already collapsed. Due to  heavy rainfall for the last three weeks, many sections of the highway have eroded. If it continues to rain, this section of the road is likely to cut off completely.
