WOLVES are the biggest mover in the Port Moresby Men’s Softball League after registering two wins over the weekend.

Under coach Vincent Kipma, the Wolves caused a major upset by beating high flyers Brown Eagles 2-0 on Saturday, and on Sunday, they edged out Stingers 5-4.

The win has propelled Wolves into the top five, awaiting the decision by POMSBL executive on Defence player, Kepas Mormor.

A concerned Kipma said his club had correctly filed an appeal regarding Mormor returning to the game after he was ejected for violence.  Since he was ejected, under the ISF ruling, he must not take part anymore or re-enter the competition.

But Mornor came back and played so the game should have been automatically forfeited to the Wolves.

The most disappointing team must be United Brothers. They lost two matches on the weekend.

On Saturday, Gazelle thrashed United Brothres 6-1 while on Sunday, the Douglas Paak-coached Defence shot down Brothers 7-6.

In another game, Mantarays drew with Stingers 0-0.
