Woman wins Ford Ranger

A LUCKY mother in Lae won a Ford Ranger vehicle in Puma Energy’s ‘Fuel Up and Win’ promotion yesterday.
Susy Hendry from Sinasina district in Chimbu was the winner of the brand new utility in the promotion grand draw for the Mamose region.
The winning ticket was drawn by Lae police Met Supt Anthony Wagambie Jr and witnessed by customers, police personnel and Puma Energy representatives.
Hendry, a self-employed mother of four children, was thrilled when she received a call from the Puma Energy national retail manager Jimmy Son.
Hendry and her husband arrived a few minutes later at the Bugandi service station in Lae to claim their prize.
There were about 15,000 entries in the Mamose. More than one million entry cards were printed for distribution throughout the country.
Hendry said the win was unexpected and she thanked Puma Energy.
She said she was self-employed and learned about the promotion from her husband’s workmates and decided to give it a try.
Son said the promotion was part of Puma Energy’s efforts to encourage customers to take part in its promotions.
The draw has a total value of about half a million kina.
The Highlands region draw was done recently in Mt Hagen and the second draw was for Mamose yesterday.
