Women’s bill a waste of taxpayers’ money

IT is my personal opinion that the bill on equal participation, to create 22 reserved seats for women in parliament, is a total waste of taxpayers’ money.
This is unnecessary and excessive.
Our women have been crying for equal participation because of discrimination.
I would like to ask the women and MPs to tell us which sections of the Constitution and the Acts of Parliament that really discriminate women.
Why not apply section 101 (1)(c) and section 102 of the Constitution to appoint at least one representative for women?
Why not amend these sections to provide at least four reserved seats (the maximum), for women to represent the four regions?
It does not mean that when the bill is finally passed, there will be no more corruption, rape, violence against women, break and enter, hold-ups, etc.
I congratulate the legal professionals who prepared this bill that you see fit to create will cause conflict of powers between the current provincial members, who are governors, and 22 women provincial members.
We have time and again some of the laws passed had been repealed or amended.
We have yet to reap the fruits from the changes.
We pray that our MPs are not led by political egotism or score points for their political survival.
