Women group gets help from CPL to host games

CITY Pharmacy Limited Group of Companies assisted a Bomana Police College mother’s sporting group with 10 cartons of water and three cartons of fruits towards their preparation in hosting the inaugural Disciplined Forces Wives Friendly Games. The games starts today and ends on Monday.
CPL group representative Oti Sarufa Lasagavibau said the games would create an atmosphere to empower the participants.
“We have come on board to support the group for a good cause, as we believe in empowering women of all walks of life,” she said.
Chairman Daisy Frances Maritua said the group was established in 2018.
“The role of the group is to function as an event-coordinating body to host the games,” she said. “We focus on promoting unity and resolving social conflicts within the barracks and the community. We also to maintained fitness.”
