Workshop targeting best practice

THE PNG Tourism Industry Association is holding a three-day workshop in Port Moresby for tourism operators to promote sustainable best practice in the sector in line with goals set by the United Nation.
The workshop is aimed at introducing sustainable development and sustainable tourism and linking them to business and policy.
It is hoped the participants will come away with better understanding of the UN Sustainable Development Goals and how they link to policy.
The workshop participants will make site visits to learn about how to apply international standards to their businesses.
This is the first workshop that the association is holding, with more to follow.
