You can choose how you live

REFERRING to Leo Aopo’s letter in The National  (Jan 8), he is  a very desperate man, who wants to live a lazy, useless and no-hope life .   People from Kerema, Mekeo and Kairuku are hard-working farmers. They have worked the soil for generations,  planting bananas, yams, sweet potatoes, taro, etc… and they can market all those veges for a living instead of buai. Powes Pakop is a leader with vision elected by people to take care of the city. I ask  him to stand his ground for the sake of the people to keep the city clean, healthy and one we can be proud of. Compare the look of streets and walls now with those pre-buai ban.  More needs to be done, but this is the start.
