Young people need God

Letters

MANY people take Godly lifestyle as seasonal.
Young people today indulge in earthly things such as alcohol, marijuana, frequenting night clubs and engaging in illegal activities with no regard for their faith in God.
There are some people who are not consistent in attending church and that is becoming a norm.
Why are we attentive to other activities and school work and don’t care about church activities?
It does not reflect the true spirit of being a Christian nation.
There is no other life on earth worth living than a Christian life.
While being a student, I had opportunities to hear from several elites of this nation and great leaders who are now in top-paid positions.
Never at one time did I hear from them saying that they were not faithful to church during their student days.
I had a chance to hear from Internal Revenue Commissioner commissioner-general Sam Koim, who was invited to attend a Tertiary Students’ Christian Fellowship (TSCF) on Saturday.
Koim was also a former TSCF president in 2005, while studying Law at the University of PNG.
One of his powerful words was, “living a Godly lifestyle is my way, and I want to show PNG on how I run Internal Revenue Commission”.
Look at how one can stand out and declare that God is the way.
PNG needs more professionals such as Koim.
It is evident that God does not turn a blind eye on those who are faithful and He is able to do great and mighty things in their lives.
PNG needs God.
Young people need God.
