1,800 register

THE East New Britain electoral office in Kokopo recorded 1,800 eligible voters last week for the upcoming Bougainville referendum in October.
ENB election manager Joap Voivoi said voters had a choice between seeking greater autonomy or independence.
“For the past few weeks, our officers here in Kokopo have been very busy with our local level government (LLG) election preparations as well as recording all the eligible voters for the Bougainville referendum,” he said.
