ABOUT 250 teenagers attended an oratory day at Don Bosco Technological Institute (DBTI) in Boroka on Sunday to help their spiritual growth.
Hosted by the Catholic Savio Haus, the one-day event was held at the newly-relocated residential area of the Salesian Formation House out of DBTI.
Teenagers who attended the event came from Gabutu, Sabama, Pari, and DBTI.
They were divided into four colours: Red, yellow, blue and green.
Field sports included touch, soccer and volleyball.
This was followed by a Bible quiz bee and item presentation.
Pari won the Bible quiz bee.
An inspirational talk by Fr Arial Magatangay left everyone with the question, “Why did Don Bosco work for the Salvation of Souls?’
“Don Bosco wants you to be happy in this life and the next.”
Fr Dominic Kachira, the rector of Savio Haus, closed the day with a prayer.
