41 polling teams deployed in Manus

FORTY-ONE polling teams in Manus have been deployed to their respective locations within the 12 LLGs to conduct this year’s LLG election.
Manus election manager Alice Sikin says polling teams for Aua-Wuvulu and Nigoherm LLGs had been deployed to the area last Thursday.
Sikin said two polling teams would be at the Nigoherm LLG while the other would conduct polling for the Aua-Wuvulu areas.
“The polling teams were accompanied by some of the PNGDF soldiers at Lombrum Naval Base,” she said.
Police personnel in Lorengau could not make it to the trip because there were no funds allocated for police allowances for the election.
