Many failures

THE people of Morobe have seen many failures in preparations leading up towards operation of Wafi-Golpu mine.
The Yantas, Hengambus and Babuafs went to Kokopo to sign the memorandum-of-agreement (MOA) and failed.
Then the Bulolo MP signed the memorandum-of-understanding (MOU) without the Governor and principle landowners.
Morobe Governor went up and gave K500, 000 each to Yantas and Hengambus, and K1 million to Babuafs.
There was infighting in Babuafs, while Yantas broke into two.
One half went and protested to close the mine.
This is telling us something.
Now we have seen another landowner in Piu claiming to be the legitimate landowners.
We saw in the media that Piu landowners show their evidence to the Lutheran Church head bishop.
The Yantas, Hengambus and Babuafs were also under his flock but he chose the Pius.
These clans must also come out in the media and prove themselves to be legitimate landowners just like the Pius did.
Remember, we Morobeans are servants of God the Almighty, since the 1800s.
He used our ancestors to light up this country.
No lying, no claiming other people’s land.
Humble, honest and truth is always ours.
Come out with your evidences.
Tell the people and the Government now.
